B.4     SUPERINTENDENT & CEO HIRING

Policy

The Red River Valley School Division Board of Trustees is responsible for the hiring of a Superintendent & CEO to manage educational and operational matters in the school division.

Protocol

The interview committee for the Superintendent & CEO will consist of:

  • All Red River Valley School Division Trustees
Procedure

After notification of a future vacancy in the position of Superintendent & CEO, the Board of Trustees will hire a recruitment firm. The Board will meet with the firm to formalize the recruiting process.

In the case of an emergency, the Assistant Superintendent will be appointed as acting Superintendent & CEO on a temporary basis.
