B.7 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF BEREAVEMENT
Policy:
Red River Valley School Division Board of Trustees will acknowledge the death of a student enrolled in the division or a current employee of the division.
Protocol:
Upon the death of a current employee or student enrolled in the Division, a card will be sent on behalf of the Division and the Board of Trustees. A budget of $100 is available for additional Divisional tributes.
Procedure:
This shall in no way affect any other expression of sympathy that Division, schools or divisional staff may wish to undertake on their own initiative.
