H.10    PENSION PLAN ELIGIBILITY FOR NON-TEACHING EMPLOYEES


Policy:

The Red River Valley School Division Board of Trustees expects that all eligible non-teaching employees will participate in the MSBA Pension Plan.

Protocol:

Pension plan eligibility and participation will follow ALL eligibility requirements as defined by the Plan provider.  

In recognition of experience and/or training, exceptions may be made to the eligibility requirements.  

Procedure:

The Principal or Department Manager must make the request for exception in writing to the Superintendent’s Office.

Requests can be approved by the Superintendent or the Assistant Superintendent and must be reported to the Board of Trustees.
