H.12  COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT PRECEDENCE


Policy:

The Red River Valley School Division Board of Trustees acknowledges that, in some cases, Board Policies and Divisional human resources procedures may be in conflict with the Collective Agreement*.

Protocol:

Should a situation arise where the Collective Agreement is in conflict with Board Policies and Divisional human resources procedures, the Collective Agreement shall take precedence.



*       “Collective Agreement” is defined as the current signed agreement between the Red River Valley School Division and the Red River Valley Teachers’ Association and the Manitoba Teachers’ Society.
