COMPENSATION – Support Staff                                    H.17

Policy:

The Red River Valley School Division Board of Trustees establishes a salary scale for Support Staff.

Protocol:

New employees shall be placed at Level 1 of the applicable salary scale.

In recognition of experience and/or training, exceptions may be made to placement at Level 1.

Procedure:

The Principal or Department Manager must make the request and rationale for placement higher than Level 1 in writing to the Superintendent’s Office.

Requests can be approved by the Superintendent or the Assistant Superintendent and must be reported to the Board of Trustees.
