H.4   EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION


Policy:

I. Past Service
Any employee leaving the division after 10 years of accumulated active service will receive a souvenir of appreciation from the board to commemorate their dedication to the division.

Procedure:

Upon receipt of notification of retirement or resignation, the division secretary will place an order for the purchase and engraving (if required) of souvenir.

 
If a ceremony is being organized a Board member/Principal/Department head will make the presentation to the individual. If no public presentation is possible a letter from the board will be sent with the gift to the employee’s address.
