H.4 EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION
Policy:
The Red River Valley School Division Board of Trustees believes in recognizing long-term employees who have chosen to depart from the Division.
Protocol:
Any employee choosing to leave the division after 10 years of accumulated active service will receive a souvenir of appreciation from the board to commemorate their dedication to the division.
Procedure:
Upon receipt of notification of retirement or resignation, the division will place an order for the purchase and engraving (if required) of souvenir.
Each year, The Board of Trustees will host an evening of recognition, honouring those employees who have retired or resigned and have the 10 years of accumulated service. Souvenirs will be presented at that event.
