The Red River Valley School Division requires that all new volunteers as of January 1, 2004, require a child abuse registry check prior to being placed for volunteer duties, where he/she is not under the direct supervision of a teacher.
Presence on the Child Abuse Registry will exclude placement as a volunteer.
