J.4 GANG COLOURS AND RELATED INSIGNIA
Policy:
The Red River Valley School Division Board of Trustees believes in a school environment free from the presence of gang related insignia and activities.
Protocol:
Gang related insignia includes any article of clothing, jewelry or other item that is intended to communicate an association with a gang or gang related activity.
Gang colours and related insignia are prohibited on all school property and at all school functions and while traveling to and from school.
Procedure:
Violation will result in disciplinary action. Further violations may include disciplinary action up to and including expulsion.
