J.6 DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAMS
Policy:
The Red River Valley School Division Board of Trustees encourages the use of a variety of distance learning programming, supported by Manitoba Education Citizenship & Youth.
Protocol:
The Red River Valley School Division will reimburse a student’s registration fee for a course provided that:
1) The course is not offered in the school or is unavailable to the student because of a timetable conflict
2) The principal has granted permission
3) The student successfully completes the course
Procedure:
The Red River Valley School Division will reimburse a maximum of one correspondence course per semester per student.
